Dakar, Senegal - The first Regional Exchange Workshop for Western and Central Africa in the framework of the WOW Project was held from 17 - 19 February 2009 at the Headquarters of Saloum National Park in Senegal.

Renske den Exter, who served as an intern at the WOW Project Coordination Unit (PCU) in Ede, The Netherlands from November 2008 to March 2009 has begun her second phase of her internship at the WOW Demonstration Site in Wakkerstroom, South Africa.
