Bonn / Cambridge, 8 December 2010 - The Wings Over Wetlands (WOW) Project is being featured in the December 2010 edition of World Birdwatch Magazine. This is the second time the WOW Project has been featured in World Birdwatch - BirdLife's world renowned international magazine about birds.
While the previous feature (September 2009 Edition of World Birdwatch) focused on the achievements of three of the eleven WOW Demonstration Projects (Lake Burdur in Turkey, Hadejia Nguru wetlands in Nigeria and Biharugra Fishponds in Hungary), the focus of the December 2010 feature is on the Critical Site Network (CSN) Tool and the Flyway Training Kit - the two main outputs of the WOW Project released in 2010.
