Edoardo Zandri joins UNEP-DGEF in Nairobi, Kenya

Edoardo Zandri, Chief Technical Advisor for the Wings Over Wetlands (WOW) Project (July 2006 - February 2009)Edoardo Zandri, the former Chief Technical Advisor of the WOW Project, has joined the UNEP/DGEF team in Nariobi, Kenya on 17 February 2009, as Task Manager for Biodiversity and Natural resources. As part of his new job he will contribute to the development and implementation of ongoing and new UNEP/GEF biodiversity conservation initiatives at the global level. His positive experience with WOW will also be instrumental for the future development of other innovative flyway-level conservation projects.

Edoardo is likely to remain involved with the WOW Project in some capacity while at UNEP/DGEF, thus ensuring continuity of oversight and support functions for our project, till its expected conlusion in 2010. The entire WOW team wishes him all the best for this new challenging position, and looks forward to remaining in contact with him!
